"I Shall Not Want"

This is the first in a series I painted on Psalm 23… "The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want". The basic necessities of life are depicted here - bread and wine. A staple of the time back then. I pushed the color for more excitement. Thanks for visiting!

"Thy Staff Comforts Me"

From a series based on Psalm 23… "Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me". I really like the colorful display in this piece. The reds and greens compliment each other well. I felt the resting staff against the tree brought a sense of comfort. Thanks for visiting!

"I Will Fear No Evil"

This is from a series based on Psalm 23… "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil." I really tried to make the candle glow. The colors represent days gone by with the parchment yellow and the victorian burgundy. Thanks for visiting!
