 "Lake Sunapee"

This was a commission for a friend. We hiked up the ski trail in Summer and I snapped some photos of what she wanted. Then when it came time to start the commission she wanted me to use several photos in a composite! I worked it out but when I finished she thought the lake would be larger. She was satisfied anyway. It was to be a wedding gift to her daughter out west. This is an earlier piece so I was still learning a lot.  I wanted to punch up the color and make sure the distant mountains looked misty and far away. I think I accomplished that. Thanks for visiting!

"Westbrook Yesterday"

This is the town of Westbrook, Maine from a time long ago. A commission that was quite a challenge! Composed from a snapshot in black and white. Very interesting to tackle this one. I used a bright yellow tone to help simulate the bright light of the sun on the dirt roadway and sidewalks. The old cars were a challenge too. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for visiting! :)

"Old Dana Warp Mill"

This is a commission I did for a family member. It is an old historic mill in Westbrook ME. I really enjoyed pushing the color a bit and rendering all the water areas and the rocks. The buildings add a nice backdrop which led to the bridge in the background and then to the colored pylon to the left that brings you right back to the  turbulent water. Thanks for visiting!

"Into The Forest"

A late afternoon scene in the shadows with the bright, colorful light in the sky and clouds. I am very happy with the final result. I like how all the different trees have their own character, colors and light. Has kind of an old world feel. Thanks for visiting!
