"Respite from the Din"

I sat on a rocky outcrop by the riverside and sketched this nice cozy scene in a quiet corner. I am sitting under a railroad trestle and a small island is just up river a bit where the river splits in two around the island. Very beautiful area. Enjoy!

"Silo in Hollis"

I sat by the side of the road and sketched this nice country scene. The road was rather busy and it was pretty hot out but there was a breeze and I enjoyed myself. This silo is across the street from a huge corn field. The charcoal stick I had was thick and blunt on the end so it was rather difficult to get finer lines. I worked it all out. "Forest Scene"

I sat down by the brook to sketch this piece. It was later in the day with lots of humidity and bugs. I toughed it out and came up with a nice piece. I'm happy enough with the results. Thanks for visiting!
