"Island View, Pawtuckaway"

This is a beautiful park with lots of trails, ponds, islands, etc. I found this view to be rather peaceful so I sat down in my chair and sketched for an hour. I like the smaller islands on either side which adds interest to the focal point - the larger island. They are all different shapes and sizes overall so it doesn't look repetitious. "Sunny Pastoral"

I found this area while scouting around Jackson, NH. It's right next to a park near a small town center. As soon as I saw the tree and the light I knew I had a beautiful motif. I set up right down in the river bed and proceeded to paint on site. Some more work in the studio and then it's ready for framing. Thanks for visiting!
