Another successful commission. I had three references for this piece and the quality wasn't that good so it was a little more of a challenge to render. The eye had red eye from the camera so I had to try and get rid of that. Overall it came out fine. Thanks for visiting!

"Wonder Woman"

This is the character Wonder Woman as played by the actress Gal Gadot. I really enjoyed sketching this piece and it seemed to just flow and come out quite easily. I did this over about 5 sessions which was a total of about 8 hours. She is so beautiful and I love the character in the movie. Thanks for visiting!

A recent commission I finished. The original picture had the girl wearing braces but they didn't want those drawn of course so I created a nicer smile. It's always a little trickier doing portraits where everything is lighter because I'm drawing on white paper. The blonde hair has to be darkened a bit to have contrast so you can see it. "Scrappy"

This is my first commission for a friend who recently contacted me. My adventure in charcoal drawing is leading me down paths I never thought I'd be traveling. This is 'Scrappy', a cute, little terrier who, surprisingly, is 12 1/2 yrs. old! It was somewhat of a challenge drawing a white dog on white paper, but I learned a few things and I worked it out.
